How To Check Kodi Log File With Addon. Luckily for us, there is a nice addon called Log Viewer for Kodi that we can install that will allow us to check the Kodi log file quickly. This method is especially useful for those of us who use streaming boxes and it is difficult getting to the actual log file itself. Now, this tutorial will work with a lot of unofficial Kodi streaming add-ons like Exodus, Covenant, Neptune Rising, and many others that are similar. In this example, I’m using Neptune Rising. Configure Add-on Settings to Enable Downloads. First, go into your Add-on settings. You can either go to the Tools menu item of that add-on’s main. Just noticed on neptune rising on both my boxes that the movie section is now emptyanyone else having this issue? Log in to Reply Sarah on November 6, 2018 at 12:17 pm.
ResolveURL is a fork of URL Resolver, which provides an alternative method for resolving links from file lockers in your Kodi addons. ResolveURL runs in the background of Kodi to decode the file hosts in order to play movies, TV Shows, and other streams in Kodi. Most of the Kodi Addons use this dependency to work on Kodi. So, if it is missing from your Kodi then most of the Addons will not work and also you can’t install new Addons that use this dependency to work on Kodi.
If you are getting “Check Log for more info” error while opening any Kodi addon or “ResolveURL Installation Failed” error while installing any new addon on your Kodi then you are missing Resolve URL dependency from your Kodi and you can follow this simple guide on how to install ResolveURl dependency on your Kodi.
If you plan on streaming content via any of the Kodi addons we recommend using a VPN. A VPN will anonymize your online activity, protect you from spying ISPs, and allow you access to geo-blocked add-ons and content.
We personally use IPVanish VPN and highly recommend it. You can Sign Up For IPVanish VPN Here or if you want to know more about why to use a VPN with Kodi Click Here
